Join us on Thursday, May 5th at MoonRise Gallery for the opening reception of Drawings, a solo exhibition by Tafadzwa (T.G.) Ndoda. This show will highlight T.G.’s intricate, gestural drawings from both past and present, and will offer the viewer a bold intimacy of the human body.

T.G. was born and raised in Chiredzi, Zimbabwe and came to the United States in 2000, to study fine art at Bellevue University. Ever since his youth, T.G. has had a powerful relationship with his pencils, going from drawing detailed depictions of the trains that transported sugar cane past his home to evocative renditions of the body.

Now, T.G. is a husband, a father to two creative children, and works as a full-time caregiver at QLI – a rehabilitation center that specializes in spinal and brain injuries. T.G. has taught art in after-school programs and currently hosts the weekly life-drawing group at the Hot Shops Art Center.
